Baljit S. Dail
Baljit S. Dail, chairman of the board of JDA Software, has served as a director since April 2013. He is a managing director of New Mountain Capital, a private equity firm based in New York. From 2005 to 2012 Dail served in a number of executive roles at Aon Corporation including chief executive officer of Aon Hewitt and of Aon Consulting, chief operating officer of Aon Benfield, and chief information officer of Aon Corporation. Prior to Aon he was a principal at McKinsey and vice president of strategy planning at Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He has held leadership positions at JP Morgan, Marks & Spencer and Ford Motor Company. He also serves on the board of directors of the Midwest ISO, AmWINS and Western Dental. Dail holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in England.
Hamish Brewer has served as a director since December 2012. He has been CEO of JDA Software since 2003, leading the company through unprecedented growth, organically and through mergers and acquisitions, making it the largest supply chain software company in the world. As CEO, Brewer is responsible for setting company strategy for operational excellence, building and strengthening customer relationships and driving product and services innovation across all markets and regions. Throughout his tenure at JDA, Brewer has held a variety of senior roles, giving him exposure to all facets of the business, enabling a greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the company. His prior roles at JDA include president (2001-present); senior vice president, worldwide sales (2001-2001); senior vice president, enterprise systems (1999-2000); senior vice president, international (1998-1999) and vice president, Europe, Middle East & Africa operations (1996-1998). Prior to JDA, Brewer worked for four years at IBM as a retail specialist in sales and marketing. He also worked at a retailer in England with responsibilities for operations, information management and stock control. Brewer also serves on the board of directors of JDA. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Nanci E. Caldwell
Nanci E. Caldwell has served as a director since March 2010. From April 2001 to December 2004, Caldwell worked at PeopleSoft, serving as senior vice president and chief marketing officer from April 2001 to January 2002, and as executive vice president and chief marketing officer from January 2002 to December 2004. Prior to joining PeopleSoft in 2001, Caldwell was at Hewlett Packard for 19 years where she held various senior management positions. She is a director of Deltek, Inc., Citrix Systems, Inc., TIBCO Software, Inc., Live Ops, Inc., and Sophos, plc. Caldwell received her B.A. in Psychology from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada and completed the University of Western Ontario’s Executive Marketing Management Program.
Lawrence V. Jackson
Lawrence V. Jackson has served as a director since March 2010. Jackson is a senior advisor with New Mountain Capital, a private equity firm based in New York. Previously he was president and chief executive officer, global procurement of Wal-Mart. Prior to Wal-Mart, Jackson served as president and chief operating officer at Dollar General and held various senior management positions at Safeway and PepsiCo. He is chairman of Sourcemark, LLC and a director of Assurant, Inc., Constar International, Inc., Oakleaf Global Holdings, Inc., Parsons Corporation, and ProLogis. Jackson received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard College in 1975 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1979.
Thomas Manley has served as a director since March 2010. Previously he was chief financial officer of Avaya Inc., a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services. Prior to Avaya, Manley was chief financial officer and senior vice president, administration of Cognos (an IBM company). Prior to Cognos, he spent 18 years with Nortel Networks, most recently as chief financial officer for the High Performance Optical Component Solutions Group. Manley is a director of Deltek, Inc. and DragonWave, Inc. He graduated with distinction from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada where he received his B.S. in engineering. He received his M.B.A from Queen's University in Ottawa, Canada.
R. Michael Mayoras
Mike Mayoras has served as a director since October 2007. Mayoras previously led RedPrairie, now part of JDA, as chief executive officer for five years. Prior to that, he held a number of executive roles at the company including president of the Americas, executive vice president of implementation services and support, and executive vice president for product development. Before joining RedPrairie, he was president of DigiTerra, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIBER, a publicly-traded enterprise application and technology consulting company. Mayoras has more than 30 years of experience in the technology, consulting and software industries, having held several executive and senior management positions for various organizations. Active in both the industry and community, Mayoras serves as a member of the board of directors for API Healthcare, EPAM Systems, Inc., the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), as well as holds a seat on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Leadership Council. He was recently named a “Provider Pro to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
Peter Masucci, managing director, joined New Mountain in 2004. He was previously associated with KKR, where he focused on private equity investments across a number of industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. He received his B.A. with highest distinction in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Iowa where he was an Academic All-American. Masucci received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is chairman of the board of SNL Financial, a director of Inmar and Valet Waste, and was previously involved with Deltek.
Tim Pawlenty has served as a director since October 2011. Pawlenty is the former governor of Minnesota and well-established advocate for business. During his time as Governor of Minnesota, Pawlenty oversaw the interests of 5.2 million citizens and was responsible for a $50 billion biennial budget, 30,000 employees and more than 20 agencies and departments. Pawlenty received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honors. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Janet R. Perna
Janet R. Perna has served as a director since March 2010. Perna served as general manager of information management for IBM’s Software Group from November 1996 until her retirement on January 2006. Prior to November 1996, she held various other executive positions in IBM’s Software Group. Perna is a director of Deltek, Inc., Flexera Software and Varicent Software and is a member of the State University of New York at Oneonta Foundation Board. She received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and has done graduate work at the University of Santa Clara.
