Baljit S. Dail, Chairman of the Board, CEO
Baljit S. Dail is the chairman of the board and CEO of JDA Software, the leading provider of cloud-based end-to-end, integrated retail and supply chain planning and execution solutions. Prior to leading JDA he was an operating partner at New Mountain Capital, a private equity firm based in New York. From 2005 to 2012 Dail served in a number of executive roles at Aon Corporation including CEO of Aon Hewitt and of Aon Consulting, COO of Aon Benfield, and CIO of Aon Corporation. Prior to Aon, he was a principal at McKinsey & Company focused on the high-tech sector. Dail started his career in the technology group at Marks & Spencer, a leading retailer in the United Kingdom, and he has also held leadership positions at JP Morgan, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Ford Motor Company. He also serves on the boards of IRI, Midwest ISO (where he also chairs the Information Technology Committee), Alexander Mann Solutions, AmWins, and Western Dental. Dail holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in England.
Christos M. Cotsakos, Ph.D.
Dr. Christos M. Cotsakos joined New Mountain in 2013 as senior advisor. Dr. Cotsakos is founding chairman, CEO and president of EndPlay, Inc. He is also founder, chairman and CEO of Pennington Ventures, LLC. Formerly, Dr. Cotsakos served as chairman and CEO of E*Trade Group, Inc., where he led the company to pioneer the personal online investment market. He also served as global co-CEO of ACNielsen, founding co-managing partner at ArrowPath Ventures and served in several senior executive positions at Federal Express Corporation. Dr. Cotsakos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London. He also received an MBA, summa cum laude from Pepperdine University and a B.A., cum laude in Communications from William Paterson University. In 2001, William Paterson University named its business school the Cotsakos College of Business in honor of Dr. Cotsakos. He is a decorated combat veteran who served with the 101st Airborne Infantry in Vietnam. Dr. Cotsakos is on the board of directors for Inmar, Inc., a New Mountain portfolio company, and is the chairman of its Technology and Innovation Committee.
Lawrence V. Jackson
Lawrence V. Jackson has served as a director since March 2010. Jackson is a senior advisor with New Mountain Capital, a private equity firm based in New York. Previously he was president and chief executive officer, global procurement of Wal-Mart. Prior to Wal-Mart, Jackson served as president and chief operating officer at Dollar General and held various senior management positions at Safeway and PepsiCo. He is chairman of Sourcemark, LLC and a director of Assurant, Inc., Constar International, Inc., Oakleaf Global Holdings, Inc., Parsons Corporation, and ProLogis. Jackson received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard College in 1975 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1979.
Peter Masucci, managing director, joined New Mountain in 2004. He was previously associated with KKR, where he focused on private equity investments across a number of industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. He received his B.A. with highest distinction in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Iowa where he was an Academic All-American. Masucci received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is chairman of the board of SNL Financial, a director of Inmar and Valet Waste, and was previously involved with Deltek.
Tim Pawlenty has served as a director since October 2011. Pawlenty is the former governor of Minnesota and well-established advocate for business. During his time as Governor of Minnesota, Pawlenty oversaw the interests of 5.2 million citizens and was responsible for a $50 billion biennial budget, 30,000 employees and more than 20 agencies and departments. Pawlenty received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honors. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
