Special Interest Group Information
The Special Interest Groups (SIG) provide a forum for product users and JDA Product Management to share information and ideas on the product direction and enhancements. Special Interest Groups are typically organized follow JDA’s product/tool set, and they provide a support community of fellow JDA clients for networking opportunities. Each Special Interest Group has a Special Interest Group Chair. The Chairs are elected at FOCUS for two-year terms. In addition to the Special Interest Group Chairs, there are JDA User Group Officers The Officers are elected at FOCUS for two-year terms on even-numbered years.
JDA User Group Officers
President:
Joe Teller (Swedish Match North America)

Presides over all general meetings and at all meetings of the Executive Committee
Vice Presidents:
Sue Bickel (The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc) and Greg Gries (Perdue Farms, Inc)

Responsible for overall coordination and organization of the Special Interest Group Chairs
Administrative Director:
Terry Bouvier (Follett Higher Education Group)

Responsible for taking, distributing and archiving the minutes; he shall cause all notices required to be given by the JDA Users Group to be duly given and served; and have charge of all records to be properly kept and filed.
Roles and Goals of the Special Interest Group
- To foster communication between the SIG and JDA SIG Managers to gain insight into JDA product enhancement plans
- To recommend enhancements that benefit members and other users
- To influence the priority of product enhancements
- To network to build productive relationships

How Do I Join a Special Interest Group?
- You must be a maintenance paying user of the JDA product for the Special Interest Group you wish to join.
- Participate in meetings, calls, voting, etc.
- Complete SIG Registration on www.jdauser.com.
SIG Registration
If you would like to participate in a SIG, you should complete the SIG registration process on www.jdauser.com. The steps are outlined below.
Steps to Join a JDA Special Interest Group (SIG)
- Log onto JDAUser.com using your password/ID. If you do not have a user id and password, please contact JDA Customer Support Solutions. For a list of JDA Customer Support Solutions numbers, please click here .
- Select the “Special Interest Group” folder.
- Select the “Registration/SIG Materials” folder.
- Select “SIG Registration”.
- You will see a list of SIGs that your company has the right to join based on your current maintenance agreement. If you believe that your company is entitled to join a SIG that is not displayed, please contact JDA Customer Support Solutions.
- Select the SIG(s) that you wish to join by putting a check mark into its box.
- Select the “Save” button at the bottom of the page to complete your selection.
