Financial Analyst Day
Concurrent with FOCUS 2008, is JDA’s annual Financial Analyst Day on Monday, May 19. JDA Chief Executive Officer Hamish Brewer and JDA Chief Financial Officer Kris Magnuson will co-host this half-day session aimed at briefing the investment community on JDA’s activities, strategies and market position.
A Day in the Life of: "One View of Demand"
Our Day in the Life experience will take attendees through the entire merchandising and supply chain lifecycle – from demand and point-of-purchase back to manufacturing and raw materials – with real-world scenario that illustrates how JDA Software solutions provide a “New View” for supply chain excellence. This guided tour is open to all attendees that want to gain specific knowledge about how “One View” can be leveraged to streamline their merchandising and supply chain management operations and truly achieve business transformation.

JDA Support and The Business Management Institute
Based on the success of previous years, JDA will be offering FOCUS Workshops & Best Practice Sessions on the Sunday before FOCUS 2008. There are two workshop types: Troubleshooting and Best Practice. Troubleshooting workshops are geared toward people who have a role in supporting JDA solutions for other users. Best Practice Workshops deliver proven ways for business-oriented users to get optimal results by leveraging business process and solutions. The purpose of the JDA Customer Advisory Board (CAB) is to establish a forum and process for the members to provide JDA with strategic input on how JDA can deliver solutions that provide value to our customer base. JDA’s CAB is a select blend of companies, whose combined focus across the supply chain can help drive the ultimate offerings of all JDA’s products and services.
JDA’s CAB offers candid feedback on JDA’s strategic direction and thought leadership. JDA’s CAB guides JDA on how to improve value to customers by sharing industry knowledge and expertise, and being a sounding board and pilot group for improved offerings or business practices.

This is an invitation-only meeting for members of the Demand Optimization Council. The Demand Optimization Council (DOC) is comprised of JDA and 15-25 strategic JDA clients across the demand/supply chain along with Capgemini, Steven Graves from MIT, Intel and HP.
The goals of the Demand Optimization Council is as follows:
- Identify and prioritize high impact, strategic optimization opportunities in the demand/supply chain
- Receive input from JDA client partners on the strategic direction of the council’s research initiatives
- Partner with clients who work closely with JDA to validate any new optimization research developed through the council’s initiatives.
The DOC is another opportunity to influence JDA’s focal areas of research, as well as, provide a forum to network with other supply chain executives to share best practices and discuss industry initiatives.
Golf Tournament at the Badlands Golf Club
Join us on Sunday, May 18th for the FOCUS 2008 Golf tournament hosted at Badlands Golf Club. Registration for the tournament is $150 per player (includes box lunch, beverage cart snacks, cart and green fees). To sign up complete your FOCUS 2008 Conference registration and select Golf as an optional activity. A true masterpiece, the Desperado, Diablo and Outlaw courses offer distinct layouts that will challenge your game at any level. Spanning across more than 220 acres, the course crosses over deep-flowing arroyos, canyons and natural washes while playing in the surrounding desert landscape. Scenic views of the entire valley are incredible.
