Built on the scalable JDA® Enterprise Architecture, JDA Promotions Management enables retail buyers and category managers to determine which products to promote, at what price, and in which locations to meet financial plans. The Promotions Management what-if scenario workbench creates promotional scenarios, including price offering and historical/projected performance, to help you determine the best promotional offer. The application also enables you to establish a promotional pricing strategy at any level of the product hierarchy, including and/or excluding product attributes, so promotional prices can be efficiently managed and delivered to price management systems.

Promotions Management provides you with visibility into historical unit, revenue and margin performance for similar promotions and projected base demand for the promotional period. You can then use this information to project the incremental demand associated with the promotion. Additionally, Promotions Management captures promotional instructions regarding marketing copy, featured products, photography and save story data so you can leverage this information during ad execution.
